Company profile

Norfolk Catering as a company was reborn in November 2003 after being acquired by current directors Chris and Sabina Simpkin.

We have completely overhauled the company, starting with a fresh, innovative new image and appearance, and then went about changing and implementing new procedures, with a strong emphasis on customer care. We have invested great time and money in updating and improving our production and transport side of the business, with all our products distributed by our modern temperature-controlled vehicles, giving us a strong foundation and infrastructure for the future.

Several years on, Norfolk Catering has had significant growth in various new areas of the business, all based around our original customer focused objective of giving the customer what they want.

Ethics & sustainability

Where possible, we always try to source recyclable or biodegradable products like our biodegradable 'Chinet' platter, which customers have the option to use if they want.

We use local companies whenever possible, not only to support them and have the freshest ingredients, but to also keep food mileage down to a minimum to save the environment.

All our tuna is ethically fished skipjack only (no bluefin or yellowfin).

Customers can view all our menus online or can have them emailed across. They can then call or email an order through, which will then be confirmed via email again so we have don’t have to print a single thing, thus saving paper. Invoices and statements can also be sent electronically, and we accept BACS payments so there is no need for cheques either.
