One Big Summer on its way
National Citizen Service pilot project launched at Carrow Road
The CSF-led National Citizen Service Norfolk programme was launched on the pitch at half time during Norwich City's match against Doncaster Rovers at Carrow Road last night.
North Norfolk MP Norman Lamb, CSF Ambassadors former Canary Dean Ashton and sports broadcaster Mick Dennis offered their support to the new project along with representatives from the Norfolk consortium that are delivering the project including the Community Sports Foundation (CSF), All Trades Training, Benjamin Foundation, Mancroft Advice Project, Momentum, Norfolk County Council, Norfolk Constabulary, The Open Trust and YMCA.
There will be 14 different One Big Summer courses run across Norfolk, which will provide a local opportunity for most young people in the county. The residential camps will take the young people out of Norfolk for one week to adventures activity centres, which will be an opportunity for them to try many new activities and build essential skills for the later part of the course and for their future careers.
run2 put together the branding for the programme, which will be rolled out across the county as One Big Summer gathers momentum through schools' spring term.

CSF website goes live
Next phase of Foundation's rebranding completed
To coincide with the official launch of the newly renamed Community Sports Foundation, run2 are pleased to have launched the charity's brand new website.
The launch event, hosted by sports broadcaster and charity ambassador Jake Humphrey, showcased the Foundation's aims and goals to deliver quality, innovative services through football and sport, with inspiring speeches from CSF Chairman Kevan Platt and Director Ian Thornton as they spoke about the history of the former Football in the Community scheme and how they are changing to CSF to move forward in the future.
The site is built to HTML5 standards with CSS3 and jQuery javascript coding behind the scenes, with a content management system to allow updates to the new and home pages as well as the creation of eshots ready to import to the sending and monitoring app.
There will be more to come from the site soon, with online booking on the way, complete with integration to CSF's Views database, meaning that all bookings will be confirmed directly with the Foundation's main database.
Having put together the original FITC branding several years ago, run2 were asked to put together the branding for the relaunched Foundation, including signage, printed material and a new mascot - find out more on the CSF case study page.

run2 lands uefa a licence course pack redesign
elite course project adds to fa job list
As a result of our continuing work for both The FA nationally and many local County FAs, run2 has been asked by The FA to redesign the candidate and tutor packs for the flagship UEFA A Licence coaching course.
The job features the roll-out of the new FA font and represents a massive overhaul of the course literature to be not only more user-friendly, but also to reflect the prestige of what is the highest rung of open-entry coaching available. The new products will be ready in time for the next A Licence course at the end of May.
The job follows hot on the heels of our successful completion of the candidate packs for the Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football course, the first rung on the coaching rung, and as such The FA's biggest attendance coaching course across the nation; the scale and exposure of the job therefore represents quite a coup for us, having been previously involved in the successful initial release of the FA Youth Award Module 1, which went live at the beginning of last year.
The candidate pack consists of a main book plus two large additional resources - a Club Administration Handbook and a Club Coach Handbook - all of which feature one of the first implementations of The FA's new brand guidelines, and which represent a massive change to the look and feel of the candidate resources for the course. Design for the jobs was completed in October, with the materials in use from the beginning of this year.
